COLUMBIA — Construction work along Forum Boulevard is under way, according to the Columbia Public Works Department.

The project involves building left turn lanes into MKT Nature and Fitness Trail parking and Victoria Place.

Motorists and pedestrians should be extremely cautious when entering the construction area and use a different route if and when possible, according to a Public Works news release.

If weather permits, the work is expected to be complete by late October.
