COLUMBIA — Missouri's Loren Figueroa has been named the Southeastern Conference's Female Diver of the Week, making her the first Tigers swimmer or diver to earn weekly honors in the conference.

Figueroa won the one-meter scramble at the Show-Me Showdown on Oct. 5. Her score of 288.80 was the best score in the SEC so far this season and earned Figueroa her third straight title in the showdown event.

Figueroa now has five weekly conference awards in her career. Before Missouri moved to the SEC, she won Big 12 Female Diver of the Week four times, three times in 2010 and once in 2011.

The Tigers return to the pool on Saturday in a meet against Missouri State.
