Columbia College women's soccer team dominates Stephens College 18-0

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's soccer team didn't leave much doubt Tuesday, beating Stephens College 18-0.

With the win, the Cougars are now in second in the American Midwest Conference at 6-1 and are 8-7 overall.

Columbia College stormed out to an 11-0 lead in the first half Tuesday including a goal two minutes into the game. Kelly Ross contributed her third hat trick in the past four games. She also added three assists for the Cougars. In total, 13 players scored a goal for Columbia College.

The Cougars are one game behind Park University in the AMC standings with the teams set to meet Oct. 26. Columbia College's next game is at 1 p.m. Friday at Lindenwood University.
