QUIZ: Test your knowledge of MU football history

Friday, October 19, 2012 | 6:00 a.m. CDT

COLUMBIA — The Missouri Tigers are now 3-4 after being defeated by Alabama last Saturday. Missouri has this weekend off, but its first season in the Southeastern Conference will continue next week against the Kentucky Wildcats. Missouri still faces the challenge of winning an SEC game.

Even though the Tigers have a bye week, they're still practicing and trying to get better. Therefore you all should, too. How well do you know the history of the Missouri football program? Test your knowledge by taking the quiz below.

Once you're finished, hit submit to see which answers are correct. To see which questions people are getting right and wrong, click the link that says "see previous responses." We encourage you to keep track of your answers as you go.

This week's quiz is a bit harder than previous ones — it's likely to challenge even the craziest Missouri fans. If you missed our three previous Missouri football quizzes, go ahead and test your knowledge of this year's Missouri Tigers squad, the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Almost 800 people took last week's Alabama quiz. The majority of these submissions came from the state of Alabama. Those folks sure seemed eager to show pride in their favorite school. Does that inspire you to do the same?

Good luck!
