Columbia College volleyball extends winning streak to 22 games

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College women's volleyball team swept visiting Lindenwood University-Belleville on Saturday afternoon. 

The Cougars won 25-8, 25-6, 25-21 to improve to 28-1 and extend their winning streak to 22 games.

Trinity Ojo and Kahoriz Feliz led Columbia College with seven kills each Saturday. Setter Paula Ferreira led the match with 33 assists, while Aleah Hayes contributed a match-high 10 digs on defense. 

Columbia College, ranked third in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, returns to action Monday against No. 15 Missouri Baptist in an American Midwest Conference matchup set for 7 p.m. at the Arena of Southwell Complex.
