Dorine Idell Bartlett loved animals, redbirds

COLUMBIA — Dorine Idell Bartlett loved animals,  the redbirds that she would feed in her yard.

Ms. Bartlett of Pace, Fla., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. She was 87.

She was born March 6, 1925, in Holly, Colo., to Roy L. and Laila (Stapleton) Crosswhite. 

Ms. Bartlett worked in the insurance industry for 40 years in the Denver area.

Ms. Bartlett is survived by her brother, Max Crosswhite and his family; two sisters, Marian Rexroat of Columbia and Nella Crosswhite and their families; and many nieces and nephews.

Ms. Bartlett's brother, Donald Crosswhite died earlier.

Visitation, with services to follow, will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home at 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Interment will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
