COLUMBIA — The 107 FastCAT will be providing free rides Friday through Sunday for MU Homecoming weekend. The bus route will run from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday.
On Friday the bus stop across from the MU Student Center, 901 Rollins St., will not be in service because of Rollins Street's closure for MU's spirit rally and outdoor concert.
FastCAT's southern loop will detour Saturday to avoid traffic on Hospital Drive until two hours after the football game. The bus will pick up passengers at the stop in front of the MU Student Center.
The FastCAT buses and stops can be tracked at RideFastCAT.com or with the RideFastCAT app for Android devices.
"We want students and residents to know that FastCAT is a safe and easy way to get around campus and downtown," Mike Matthes, the Columbia city manager, said in a news release. "Homecoming is a busy time, and this is a great way to reduce the stress of parking and traffic."
