COLUMBIA — Friends of the Columbia Public Library held a book sale Tuesday at the Columbia Public Library. The group holds book sales every Tuesday and Saturday, with the proceeds going to the library.

Faye Pugh, 51, shops for used books. Pugh enjoys old books, particularly cookbooks and classic books.

Joan Watson, a member of Friends of the Columbia Public Library, helps Faye Pugh bag used books that Pugh bought at the book sale. Friends of the Columbia Public Library has three larger book sales each year, with the revenue going to support the library.
