Tuesday, October 23, 2012 | 10:16 p.m. CDT

Missouri junior diver David Bonuchi was named the Southeastern Conference Male Diver of the Week after sweeping the 1- and 3-meter dives in competition this past weekend.

Bonuchi, a former Hickman High School all-state diver, scored a conference-high 435.75 points in the 3-meter against Missouri State in a dual meet Saturday. He also took the top spot in the 1-meter with a score of 354.43.

This is the 20-year-old's second conference weekly award in his career after claiming the Big 12 Diver of the Week award on Dec. 15, 2010.

The Tigers swimming and diving team will host Arkansas, Kentucky and Southern Illinois at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mizzou Aquatic Center.
