Tolton-Calvary loses final game of team's first season

COLUMBIA — The Tolton-Calvary football team was defeated by visiting Blair Oaks High School 68-13 in the Trailblazers' final game of the season Thursday.

The game was the first in the postseason for both teams.

Despite a quiet offense, Tolton-Calvary returned a kickoff 65 yards for a touchdown, and Christian Elliott made an interception that he returned 70 yards for a touchdown.

The Trailblazers ended their first season 1-8.

Blair Oaks advances to the second round of the Missouri State High School Activities Association Class 2 playoffs and will play Montgomery County High School on Oct. 31.
