Dixon, Bull suspended for violating team rules

COLUMBIA — Coach Frank Haith announced Friday afternoon at a press conference at Mizzou Arena that senior Michael Dixon Jr. and freshman guard Dominique Bull have been suspended for violating team rules.

The two will not be playing in Monday's home opener against Northwest Missouri State.

Haith said there is no set timeline for when the two will return.

"The time frame can also be dependent on the player and their response to adversity," Haith said. "We'll let you know when those guys will be back."

Dixon was named a Preseason Second Team All-SEC choice earlier this week. Dixon was also suspended from the team in 2010 when Mike Anderson was coach.
