The Bruins girls runners (led by sophomore Sam Farmer's sixth-place finish and senior Megan Schulte's seventh-place finish) were second as a team with 78 points. Jefferson City won with 55.

Kewpies senior Ethan Zars placed ninth in boys race to qualify for next Saturday morning's state competition at Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City.
