LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Janet Thompson is right choice for Northern Boone County

I’m joining many others in support of Janet Thompson for Northern Boone County Commissioner. Having known Janet for many years, I can attest to her work ethic, her honesty and her ability to listen objectively and connect with people.

As a long time rural Boone County resident, she knows the problems that Boone County faces as well as its attributes. Her knowledge of the law, as well as her expertise as a negotiator, will be a great attribute to the commission board.

Lastly, Janet has a big heart. She does a tremendous amount of volunteer work with her church, her job and equine organizations. She has served as a mentor to many young adults, both professionally and personally. I encourage your readers to vote for Janet Thompson on Election Day.
