Isla Mae "Kitty" Crane lived to be 91

COLUMBIA — Isla Mae "Kitty" Crane of Wilbraham, Mass., died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012. She was 91.

Mrs. Crane was born April 20, 1921, in Perdido, Ala., to Robert and Dausie Carr.

She attended secretarial school in Pensacola, Fla. She later married Forrest "Frosty" Crane in Pensacola in 1942. The couple settled in Columbia where she worked as a secretary for her husband.

Mrs. Crane is survived by her sister, Myrtice Long; her children, John Crane and Joyce Alexander; six grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Her husband died earlier.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 20 at the Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church cremation garden in Cape Coral, Fla.
