U.S. Air Force veteran enjoyed CB radios

COLUMBIA — Jerome "Jerry" Jett died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012. He was 81. 

He was born April 13, 1931, in Columbia to Monroe and Laura (Ketchum) Jett.

Mr. Jett served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. His hobby was CB radios. Mr. Jett achieved the rank of Colonel at the Odd Fellows Lodge, where he was a member for 60 years.

Mr. Jett is survived by his caregiver, Martin Andrews; two step-nieces, Joyce and Julie Andrews; and several cousins.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
