Columbia Transit bus route hours extended for Election Day

COLUMBIA — Columbia Transit bus route hours will be extended until 8:45 p.m. Tuesday for voters traveling to and from the polls.  

Bus routes service 36 polling places, including Boone County Government Center and the MU Student Center, according to a news release from the city. 

People who are unsure which bus routes will take them to their polling places can call Columbia Transit at 874-7282 or visit their website.

Buses typically run until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday.
