WE VOTED: Capturing the faces (and stickers) of voters

What is it about "I Voted" stickers? Most people seem to love them. Lots of folks seem eager to snap pictures of them. And absentee voters are sad they don't get them. (If that's you, we've got you covered with this Facebook image you can share.)

To tap into some of the pride around voting, the Missourian caught up with voters and their “I Voted” stickers today at polling places around Columbia. Have a picture of your sticker? Share it with us by:

Dave Murphy, 58, executive director of the Conservation Federation of Missouri, voted at Campus Lutheran Church.

 

Lindsey Battle, 20, an MU student, voted at Memorial Student Union.


Sara Aisenberg and Thomas Randolph voted at 7:45 a.m. at the Hampton Inn and Suites on Stadium Blvd. and Fellows Place.


Sam Lin, 23, an MU student, voted at the MU Student Center.


Rachel Brekhus, 41, a librarian, and Wayne Brekhus, 47, an associate professor of sociology at MU, voted at Campus Lutheran Church.


Lauren Moore, 19, an MU student, voted at Memorial Student Union.


Heidi Appel, 56, a senior research scientist at the MU Division of Plant Sciences, voted  at Memorial Student Union.
