Three suffer gunshot wounds in Blue Ridge area shooting

Wednesday, November 7, 2012 | 12:16 a.m. CST

COLUMBIA— Three people were shot in north Columbia on Tuesday night, Columbia Police Department spokeswoman Latisha Stroer said.

The shooting started at the intersection of Skyview and Green Ridge roads. Stroer said people in two separate vehicles were shooting at each other as they drove northbound.

The police department received multiple calls from people reporting gunshots, Stroer said.

Stroer said the shooting resulted in four separate crime scenes but did not have information about their locations. She said she didn't know whether the victims in the vehicle-to-vehicle shootings had been admitted to local hospitals.
