David A. Craig, Sr. 


David Craig, 73, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2012, at Heritage Hall in Centralia, MO. Memorial services will be held at 10:30AM Friday, November 9, 2012 at Nilson Funeral Home in Columbia. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services and the burial of his ashes will follow in the Oakland Cemetery in Columbia. 

David was born, March 10, 1939 in Boonville, MO to Roy and Pearl Duncan Craig. He retired from Columbia Ready Mix after working several years for them. He enjoyed his muscle cars and taking road trips with his friends and family. He was also a golfer and enjoyed building and repairing computers for his friends and family. 

He is survived by his sons, David Craig, Jr. of Columbia and Jesse and wife Stacy of Centralia; daughter Robin Knight and husband Dale of Auxvasse; sisters, Betty Edwards and Debbie McKenzie; nine grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren, and by his long-time friend, Jerry Mead. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara, brother Estil Leroy Craig, and his parents.
