David A. Craig Sr. was golfer, enjoyed roadtrips with family

David A. Craig Sr. of Centralia died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. He was 73.

He was born March 10, 1939, in Boonville to Roy and Pearl (Duncan) Craig. Mr. Craig worked several years for Columbia Ready Mix, a concrete-mixing company, before he retired. He was a golfer and enjoyed building and repairing computers for friends and family. Mr. Craig also had an interest in muscle cars and took road trips with friends and family.

Mr. Craig is survived by sons David Craig Jr. of Columbia and Jesse Craig, and his wife, Stacy, of Centralia; daughter Robin Knight, and her husband, Dale, of Auxvasse; sisters Betty Edwards and Debbie McKenzie; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Craig's parents, wife, Barbara, and brother Estil died earlier.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 Saint Charles Road. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Burial of his ashes will follow at Oakland Cemetery, East Rollins Street in Moberly.
