FROM READERS: Hickman alumna performing well on Drury swimming and diving team

Darren Laupp is the father of Rebekah Laupp, a Hickman graduate and member of the Drury University diving team. Earlier this year, Darren shared this post with us about Rebekah signing her letter of intent.

The Drury Women's Swimming and Diving team defeated Lindenwood, 143-89, in its home opener at Breech Pool in Springfield, Mo., last Friday evening.

Drury University freshman diver and Hickman graduate Rebekah Laupp qualified for NCAA II Nationals in the one meter springboard event with a score of 266.24. She has been diving well in her first year at Drury, with a third place finish on the 3-meter at the Mizzou Show-Me Showdown, a first place finish on the 3-meter and a second place on 1-meter dive at Missouri State. Laupp also has a first place finish on the 1- and 3-meter against Lindenwood and a first place finish on the 1-meter and second place finish on 3-meter against Delta State this last Saturday.  

Drury will be in action at a University of Missouri Invitational at the end of November.
