ST. LOUIS — St. Louis police are investigating two accidents involving what are believed to be stolen cars. One of the accidents was fatal.

Both accidents happened early Monday. Police said a silver Dodge Charger was carjacked by a suspect armed with a shotgun. Police gave chase until the Charger crashed, flipping in the air. The suspect was able to get away.

The second suspected stolen car struck a building. The 20-year-old driver was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Authorities believe there may be a connection between the two incidents.
