Missouri volleyball falls on the road to Texas A&M

The Missouri volleyball team lost Friday night to Texas A&M 3-1 (25-20, 18-25, 25-15, 25-15) in College Station, Texas.

The loss drops the Tigers to 18-10 and 9-8 in Southeastern Conference play. The Aggies clinched the SEC West division with the win, moving to 22-5 and 14-4 in the SEC.

Despite the loss, the Tigers were led by strong performances from juniors Lisa Henning and Molly Kreklow. Henning had 21 kills on .250 hitting, as well as 10 digs. Kreklow contributed 32 assists and 13 digs.

The Aggies' attack had 59 kills compared to 43 kills by the Tigers. Texas A&M had three players with double digit kills, led by senior Alisia Kastmo's 21. Junior setter Allie Sawatzky had 50 assists.

Missouri's next match is at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday against Mississippi in Starkville, Miss.
