Missouri volleyball team loses season finale

COLUMBIA — The Missouri volleyball team lost its season finale 25-15, 19-25, 25-17, 23-25, 12-15 to Alabama on Friday night at Hearnes Center. The loss drops the Tigers to 19-12 on the season and 10-10 in Southeastern Confernce play.
Missouri junior Lisa Henning became the first Tiger with back-to-back 500-kill seasons with her team-high 24 kills against the Crimson Tide. Sophomore Whitney Little improved her single season blocks record with 139 this year for the Tigers after tallying three blocks in the loss.
Defensively, Missouri was led by libero Sarah Meister, who had 14 digs, and defensive specialist Jade Hayes, who also had 14.
