COLUMBIA — A structure fire caused an estimated damage of $150,000 to a duplex on 4512 Orchard Lane in northeast Columbia on Saturday morning. No one was injured.

Two adults were at home when the fire struck, but they got out of the house safely, according to a news release.

The Columbia Fire Department received a call at 10:39 a.m., Battalion Chief Brad Fraizer said. The fire was under control in 13 minutes. Firefighters spent another hour removing burned drywall and charred insulation.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Fraizer said.
