Public invited to discuss downtown Columbia sidewalk construction projects

COLUMBIA — The city is inviting the public to discuss how impending downtown sidewalk construction projects should be implemented.

The Public Works Department will host an open house meeting Dec. 4 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Daniel Boone City Building in room 1A.

The six design concepts for the Community Development Block Grant sidewalk projects will be presented and discussed at the meeting. Three of the projects will be completed in 2013 and the three others will be completed the following year.
