COLUMBIA — Marylou Mayse of Columbia died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012. She was 64.
Mrs. Mayse was born Jan. 29, 1948, to James C. and Eunice (Yeager) Turner in Columbia.
She was a 1966 graduate of Southern Boone High School in Ashland and the MU School of Home Economics in 1970.
She married Don Mayse on June 7, 1969, at New Salem Baptist Church.
The Mayses were involved in many business endeavors including Family Pawn Stores and Show Me Farms, where they raised registered shorthorn cattle.
Mrs. Mayse is survived by her husband, Don; a son, Brian Mayse and his wife, Jennifer; her stepmother, Sue Turner; a sister, Kay Adams, and her husband, Bill; two grandchildren, MaKenna and Colten Mayse; her mother-in-law, Paula Mayse; a nephew, Greg Nichols; and several cousins.
Her parents and her father-in-law, Joe Mayse, died earlier.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with burial immediately after at Memorial Park Cemetery.
