COLUMBIA – A night filled with pictures of Santa and Mrs. Claus, auctions and candy ended with carols sung by the West Junior High School Choir. The Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri hosted a Holiday Tea on Wednesday as a part of its 16th Annual Festival of Trees at the Holiday Inn Executive Center.

The fundraiser is a two-day event that helps raise money for adoptions, foster care and crisis pregnancy services. The second part of the fundraiser, the Growing Hope Gala, will consist of an evening of cocktails and dinner, followed by a live and silent auction throughout the event.

Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri hopes to raise around $30,000 through tickets sales for the event and auctioned items.
