Michelle Morrow loved travel, reading

COLUMBIA — Michelle Morrow died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, as the result of injuries suffered in a vehicle accident. She was 24.

Ms. Morrow was born June 8, 1988, in Jefferson City to Randy and Sandra Morrow.

Ms. Morrow graduated in 2006 from Hickman High School, where she played basketball and cheered for the soccer team. In 2010, she graduated cum laude from MU where she majored in biological sciences.

Ms. Morrow was a pharmacy technician at Boone Hospital Center and worked part time at Bandana's BBQ restaurant. She planned to attend pharmacy school. 

Ms. Morrow loved to travel and spent a semester abroad at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch, New Zealand.

She enjoyed reading, photography, movies, concerts and the St. Louis Cardinals.

She was a lifelong member of Forum Christian Church.  

Ms. Morrow is survived by her parents, Randy and Sandra Morrow; her brother, Jefferson of Columbia; her grandmothers, Marlene Vandelicht of Lake of the Ozarks and Doris Morrow of Macon; an aunt, Cheryl Dye of Callao; an uncle and aunt, Dwayne and Susan Vandelicht Richard of Scottsdale, Ariz. many cousins; and a special friend, John Kalogeris of Columbia.

Ms. Morrow's grandfathers, Glen Vandelicht and Ganvil Morrow, died earlier. 

Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Forum Christian Church, 3900 Forum Blvd. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Forum Christian Church with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City.
