Brookside Downtown apartment site of armed robbery Wednesday night

COLUMBIA — An attempted home invasion robbery occurred at Brookside Downtown apartments on Wednesday night. 

Police responded to the armed robbery at 8:16 p.m. at 260 Tenth St.

A neighbor reported witnessing three men with guns leaving the apartment. The men were wearing masks and dark hooded sweatshirts, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department.

No property was reported as stolen.

No shots were fired, and no one was injured, according to the release.
