Stephens women's basketball wins home game

COLUMBIA — The Stephens College basketball team won 70-62 against St. Mary on Saturday at Silverthorne Arena.

Sam Stirmlinger led the Stars with 19 points. Taylor Payne, Jess McConnell and Jenna Zmyslony also all scored in double figures with 11 points apiece. Stirmlinger, a 5-foot-7 sophomore guard, also contributed five steals and four assists.
