Adam Lewkowsky completed his master of arts in Library Science online while living in Portland, Ore. He came to Columbia this weekend to participate in the MU Graduate School commencement.

COLUMBIA — Adam Lewkowsky grew up in Missouri and attended Truman State for his undergraduate degree in English and Theater. After getting married, Lewkowsky moved to Portland, Ore.

He began working in libraries in 2003, and has a position at a public library in Portland. With some encouragement from his co-workers, he decided to get his masters in Library Science. He hopes to eventually make the move from public libraries to academic libraries.
