COLUMBIA — A Centralia man died when his truck ran off a road northeast of Columbia on Tuesday night.

Duane A. Lyons, 33, was traveling eastbound on Maupin Lane, ran off the left side of the road in a Ford F350 truck, a Boone County Sheriff's Department news release said. Lyons overcorrected, driving the truck off the road again, when it struck several trees and flipped.

Lyons was not wearing his seatbelt, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
