Hickman girls basketball stops Newburg in first round of tournament

Hickman’s Emily Miller had 15 points to lead the Kewpies to a 62-22 win in their first round tournament game against Newburg on Thursday in Rolla.

Cherish Walton had 12 points. Kendahl Adams and Jade Holley each had eight.

Hickman meets St. Clair in the second round of the Rolla High School Girls Holiday Tournament at 1 p.m. Friday in Rolla.
