Missouri basketball time change announced

Thursday, December 27, 2012 | 3:58 p.m. CST

COLUMBIA  — The  Missouri basketball game on Jan. 5 against Bucknell will now tip at 3 p.m and will be televised live on the Mizzou Sports Network. The game was originally scheduled for 6 p.m.

In addition to the time change, Missouri also announced that the game is a sellout. The Jan. 5 contest will be the final nonconference game of the year for the Tigers and precedes the Jan. 8 Southeastern Conference opener against Alabama, also at Mizzou Arena.

Missouri returns to action on Friday at UCLA. The game is scheduled to tip at 9 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
