Golden Corral on Clark Lane receives bomb threat call

COLUMBIA — Golden Corral at 3421 Clark Lane received an anonymous bomb threat call Monday afternoon.

According to a Columbia Police Department news release, officers were dispatched to the scene at 3:17 p.m. They evacuated the restaurant and checked for suspicious packages and devices, but they didn't find any. 

At about 4:30 p.m., officers were still at the restaurant, preparing a search of the business and parking lot with a bomb detection canine dog as a precaution, according to the release.
