Early morning fire displaces two families, kills two dogs

COLUMBIA — A fire destroyed a multi-level home early Wednesday morning at 2214 Chapel Hill Road, but the residents who were inside at the time survived. Two dogs died, according to Columbia Fire Department Battalion Chief James Weaver.
