Man shot in leg on Bonny Linn Drive Wednesday night

COLUMBIA — A man was shot in the leg Wednesday evening at 3414 Bonny Linn Drive. His injuries were not life threatening.

This is what happened, according to a news release from the Columbia Police Department:

Officers arrived at the residence around 10:39 p.m. Wednesday and found evidence of a shooting. The victim had left prior to their arrival; he was later found at a local hospital and was uncooperative.

An investigation revealed that multiple rounds were fired; one struck the male victim, several were fired inside the home and others entered the victim's front door and a neighbor's front door. 

Police have no information about a possible suspect.
