The Columbia Fire Department hosted a grand re-opening of its Fire Station No. 3. The station is owned by MU, which allows the department free use of the station.

COLUMBIA — Mayor Bob McDavid, MU Vice Chancellor Jackie Jones, Chamber of Commerce members and firefighters toured the revamped Fire Station No. 3 on Thursday. The MU-owned station was reorganized to provide for better emergency vehicle access and to give firefighters improved living quarters.
