Win at Wright City gives Tolton third straight victory

The Tolton Catholic boys basketball team won its third straight game with a 48-34 victory Thursday night at Wright City.

The Trailblazers (5-6) jumped to a 24-8 halftime advantage after holding Wright City scoreless in the second quarter.

Josh Boyer led Tolton with 13 points and seven rebounds, and Brennan Church had eight points and 12 rebounds.

"We're getting our momentum," Tolton coach Tyler Clark said.

Tolton plays its next game Tuesday against South Shelby in the opening round of the Macon Tournament.
