COLUMBIA — Rock Bridge wrestler Sam Crane finished first overall in his division at the St. Charles Western tournament that took place on Saturday and Sunday, being named the tournament's outstanding wrestler in the process.

Crane, a junior, also recorded his 100th career win during the tournament.

It was a successful weekend for the Rock Bridge wrestling program as a whole, as five Bruin wrestlers finished in the top eight in the final standings. Behind Crane, junior Jason Kiehne finished fifth, sophomores Joe Boettcher and Graham Ratterman tied for seventh and junior Brenden Wallace finished eighth.

The Rock Bridge wrestlers will take the mat again this weekend when they participate in the Hickman Invitational at Hickman High School on Friday and Saturday.
