Mildred Lee Hullender, Jan. 7, 1922 to Jan. 13, 2013, of Columbia

Mildred Hullender was born January 7, 1922 at Butler, Oklahoma to the late Doc Scarbrough King and Ada Gertrude Nancy Jane (Fagg) King. She departed this life on January 13, 2013, at the age of 91 years, and 6 days; while residing at The Baptist Home, Ironton Missouri.

On February 14, 1941, she was married to Haywood “Strick” Hullender. To this union six children were born: H. S. Hullender Jr. (Linda) of Dallas, Texas, Jeff Hullender (Constance) of Hot Springs, North Carolina, Suzanne Hullender of Jefferson City, Missouri, Jo Fretwell of Demopolis, Alabama, Vicki Craine (Bill) of Hawaii, and Jean Thompson (Coy) of Highland, Illinois; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Mildred is remembered by her family, “As an Angel of Mercy; and she was cared for at the end of her life by people at The Baptist Home, who were Angels of Mercy as well.”

Mildred was a member of Parkade Baptist Church, Columbia, Missouri; she has lived at The Baptist Home, Ironton, since March 3, 2008.

Visitation: Friday, January 18, Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Noon—1:00PM

Funeral Service: Memorial Funeral Home, Friday at 1:00 PM

Interment: Memorial Cemetery, Columbia, Missouri

The Baptist Home Memorial Service will be on Thursday, January 24, at 10:00 AM, in the Chapel.
