Columbia College men's basketball streaks past Missouri Baptist

COLUMBIA — The Columbia College men's basketball team defeated Missouri Baptist 93-61 on Thursday night at the Arena of Southwell Complex to bring its undefeated streak this season to 19 games.
The Cougars (ranked No. 1 in the NAIA at 19-0 and 5-0 in the American Midwest Conference), who led 54-23 at the half, held the Spartans (7-11, 2-3 in the AMC) to just 36 percent shooting and forced them into 16 turnovers.
Zach Rockers led four Columbia College players in double figures with a game-high 20 points, including six 3-pointers. Jordan Dressler had 19 points, while Devin Griffin scored 15 and Derrick Dilworth had 14.
The Cougars are set to travel to take on league newcomer Lyon College at 4 p.m. Saturday in Batesville, Ark.
