Kelli Anne Henderson, 28, loved art, animals and people

COLUMBIA — Kelli Anne Henderson was passionate about art, animal and interacting with people.

Ms. Henderson died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013. She was 28.

Ms. Henderson was born June 19, 1984, in Jefferson City to Greg and Jamie Henderson. She moved to Columbia in 1988.

She was an aspiring artist and her artwork is displayed on the walls of Rock Bridge High School, where she graduated in 2002. She was studying graphic design at Columbia College. 

Because Ms. Henderson enjoyed collecting pandas, she was nicknamed "Panda" by many people around her.

Ms. Henderson is survived by her parents, Greg and Jamie Henderson, brother, Ethan Henderson, all of Columbia; maternal grandmother Marjorie Williams of Jefferson City; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ms. Henderson's maternal grandfather, Christon Williams, and her paternal grandparents, Homer and Rosemary Henderson, died earlier.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery.
