Senior Jordan Dressler's 17 points helped the top-ranked Columbia College men's basketball team run its record to 20-0 this season with a 72-59 victory Saturday at Lyon College in Batesville, Ark.
Dressler tallied his 1,000th career point in the victory, which moved the Cougars to 6-0 in American Midwest Conference play.
The Cougars, who led 35-31 at halftime, used a 10-0 run about midway through the second half to pull away for good.
Devin Griffin and Derrick Dilworth had 12 points apiece for Columbia College, followed by Tanner Sutton with 10. Dressler's performance gives him 1,002 career points in his third year with the Cougars.
The Cougars are set to play their next game Thursday night in another AMC contest at Harris-Stowe in St. Louis.
