Hickman girls basketball falls in tournament championship game

The Hickman girls basketball team lost 45-35 to Nixa on Saturday in the championship game of the Smith-Cotton tournament in Sedalia.

Emily Miller led the Kewpies (14-2) with 14 points, and Jade Holly scored 10. Both Miller and Holly were named to the event's all-tournament team.

Hickman is set to play its next game at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in a home game against rival Rock Bridge.
