COLUMBIA — Rogers Hugh Thomson, 79, of Columbia, passed away January 16, 2013, at Harry S. Truman Veterans Hospital.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Jacksonville, Mo.

Rogers was born December 19, 1933, to James and Eleanor Dills Thomson.

Survivors include a daughter, Sue Thomson (Harry Christianson), of Columbia; a son, James Thomson, of Jefferson City, and three grandchildren, Richard, Alia and Paul.
