Rock Bridge girls basketball pulls away in second half

The Rock Bridge girls basketball team won 65-46 on Monday at the St. Louis MLK Shootout after outscoring East Central (Tulsa, Okla.) 21-8 in the third quarter. 

Sophomore guard Sophie Cunningham and sophomore forward Cierra Porter each scored 18 points to lead the Bruins (13-4). Junior guard Chayla Cheadle added 17. 

Rock Bridge led 29-21 at halftime before taking a 50-29 lead into the final quarter. The Bruins play Wednesday at rival Hickman.
