Students were back at MU on Tuesday for a cold first day of the spring semester.

COLUMBIA — MU students returned to class on a cold winter day Tuesday for the first day of the spring semester.

The high temperature Tuesday in Columbia was 23. It will be warmer Wednesday, with a forecast high of 43, according to the National Weather Service. The overnight low will drop to 15.
