Missouri wrestling easily dispatches Northern Illinois

Tigers dominates the Huskies 39-3, win nine of 10 matches

The Missouri wrestling team handily defeated Northern Illinois 39-3 on Saturday in Dekalb, Ill.

The fifth-ranked Tigers won nine out of a possible 10 matches. 

Junior Alan Waters returned to the starting lineup following a month-long absence to pin Northern Illinois’ Nick Harrison, earning a victory in the 125-pound weight class.

Senior heavyweight Dom Bradley also narrowly defeated Northern Illinois heavyweight Jared Torrence, 2-1.

Missouri will compete again tomorrow when it travels to face No. 21 Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
